The public is up in arms and in all aspects of life; spiritually, economically, environmentally, politically, and life in general, on a global scale. What is the cause? Is there a shift coming and if so what type of shift?

Political shift
During 1959 this was said; “We can’t expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism.”

“You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright. But we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you; we’ll so weaken your economy until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.”- Nikita Khrushchev

They entered our colleges to change the young open minds step by step. I met and knew one of them in the mid 60’s, the political shift.

The economic shift has been taking place over some time. In the 1950’s through the mid 60’s US was the engine in the global economy. We invented, designed, and manufactured; the US was booming. Then the Vietnam War started, it was long drawn out and costly to the public in terms of life, emotionally, and financially. The peace movement started, people sought our spirituality and a simpler way of life and all eyes were starting to focus on the environment. The mood of the country was turning against the government, the war machine.

In 1970 the EPA was created and by 1972 Nixon went to China marking the first step of the economic shift. The US had a few issues the environment had taken a beating, the growing demand for product driving prices, China, a communist country, had a labor force and plenty of resources to support industry along with a high level of poverty. By building this bridge this would open the communistic country would be open to seeing free people, business to grown their economy cut the poverty levels although would have an environmental impact on China.

By 1974 Nixon stepped down further embarrassment to the US both at home and aboard, 1975 the Vietnam War had ended. Peace at last but the people of the US were worn out and unhappy with their government. Still focused on the environment we were going to have “Global Cooling” environmentalist were showing graphs predicting the coming cooling and the push to clean up the environment was building. People still not over Nixon and the war they were fed up with government and wanted change, bringing in Carter. Carter was a dove and an environmentalist, everything was going to change.

The expansion of imports was taking their toll and manufacturers from many sectors were up in arms. “How can we compete, raise tariffs” was the cry. Manufacturers wanted just to be able to complete with the onslaught of imports entering the country but government closed its ears. EPA was gaining in strength under Carter and unions wanted more, costing the manufacturing sector. Unemployment due to the closing of factories grew from 3.5% in 1969 to 9.7% by 1982; over 12 million people lost their jobs and a majority was from the loss of manufacturing to imports. The environment was starting to improve!

The economy had gone south under Carter mostly due to the oil embargo jobs were disappearing, prices shy rocketing inflation… Reagan came in and something drastic had to be done, unemployment was still climbing so Reagan stimulated the economy! Jobs started being created new development and the economy was picking up and poverty was in decline. China’s economic engine was started and beginning to roar and by 1997 Hong Kong was handed over to China.

From November 1982 to July 1990 the U.S. economy experienced robust growth, modest unemployment, as well as low inflation. The “Reagan boom” rested on shaky foundations, however, and as the 1980s progressed signs of trouble began to mount. On October 19, 1987 stock markets around the world crashed. Within the U.S. the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost in excess of 22% from its value. Although the causes of “Black Monday” were complex, many saw the crash as a sign that investors were worried about the inflation that could result from large U.S. budget deficits. The American housing market presented an additional sign of weakness, as in the second half of the 1980s a large number of savings and loan associations (private banks that specialized in home mortgages) went bankrupt. The collapse of the S&L industry negatively impacted the welfare of many American households and precipitated a large government bailout that placed further strain on the budget.

The 1987 stock market crash and the S&L crisis was a separate phenomena, they demonstrated the growing importance of financial markets—and associated public and private sector debt—to the workings of the American economy. Other causes of the early 1990s recession included moves by the U.S. Federal Reserve to raise interest rates in the late 1980s and Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait in the summer of 1990. The latter drove up the world price of oil, decreased consumer confidence, and exacerbated the downturn that was already underway.

Although the National Bureau of Economic Research has concluded that the early 1990s recession lasted just eight months, conditions improved slowly thereafter, with unemployment reaching almost 8% as late as June 1992. The sluggish recovery was a key factor in George H.W. Bush’s defeat for re-election to the U.S. presidency in November 1992.

The US workforce was focused on technology and the job market was flourishing, but manufacturing, industry for the most part was part of history. Then 9-11 came costing the US over 1 trillion dollars and then the war another couple of trillion bringing up the national debt. In 2003 Bush gave a speech citing the need to renew investment in the manufacturing sectors but little to none was made. EPA regulations, cost of labor, and materials did not warrant the investment, we could no longer compete in the world.

The globalization of business and technology was taking place… Leaning regulations were lowered to entice new home ownership. Gas prices started increasing, inventories were backing up and the job layoffs started and businesses started closing. By 2007 the economy was falling like a rock and continued through 2009. Businesses were exporting white collar jobs to cut costs. White collar jobs now leaving the US in record numbers and the government does nothing to prevent it. Meanwhile, China and India are booming everywhere for the industrialization and investments being made in the infrastructure. Within the next 2 years the economic shift will be completed but both China and India are just now starting to address the environment!

Between 9-11 the war in Afghanistan and then the drawn out and bloody war in Iraq once again the US public was sickened of the bloodshed. These events brought in a renewed sense of religion and spirituality. The US public now sickened of government because of the war in Iraq and the tumbling economy wanted change! Unrest and fear always brings about the same responses, “Faith and Change” it is the need for hope and something to blame. Historically, governments point blame at big business rather than taking the heat themselves, after all they are the good guys right!

Change in 2007 the word racist came back to the forefront ultimately tearing away of the fabric of society. Then to follow change the military was pulled out and a power vacuum was created in the world at the same time military leaders were being purged from the military… Change EPA regulations strengthened more hidden taxes created. The world is in unrest… China adding to its military investment by 20% while Russia making moves… and the terrorist back at it again… a shift of power has started.

But this time the call for spirituality is different some have gone into Atheism others see a new reckoning coming (war of the religions) others are awakening within and it is on a global scale. A religious shift no question everyone is questioning everything. What is causing it?

On Saturday, 27 February 2010, at 03:34 local time (06:34 UTC), Chile had a magnitude of 8.8 on the moment magnitude scale, with intense shaking lasting for about three minutes. It ranks as the sixth largest earthquake ever to be recorded by a seismograph. It was felt strongly in six Chilean regions that together represent about 80 percent of the country’s population. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) the cities experiencing the strongest shaking—VIII (Destructive) on the Mercalli intensity scale (MM)—were Arauco and Coronel. According to Chile’s Seismological Service Concepción experienced the strongest shaking at MM IX (Violent). The earthquake was felt in the capital Santiago at MM VII (Very Strong) or MM VIII. Tremors were felt in many Argentine cities, including Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza and La Rioja. Tremors were felt as far north as the city of Ica in southern Peru (approx. 2400 km). This sent the earth 2 degrees off its axes!

The region’s most recent caldera-forming eruption 640,000 years ago created the 35-mile-wide, 50-mile-long (55 by 80 km)Yellowstone Caldera. Pyroclastic flows from this eruption left thick volcanic deposits known as the Lava Creek Tuff, which can be seen in the south-facing cliffs east of Madison, where they form the north wall of the caldera. Huge volumes of volcanic ash were blasted high into the atmosphere, and deposits of this ash can still be found in places as distant from Yellowstone as Iowa, Louisiana, and California.

If another large caldera-forming eruption were to occur at Yellowstone, its effects would be worldwide. Thick ash deposits would bury vast areas of the United States, and injection of huge volumes of volcanic gases into the atmosphere could drastically affect global climate. Fortunately, the Yellowstone volcanic system shows no signs that it is headed toward such an eruption. The probability of a large caldera-forming eruption within the next few thousand years is exceedingly low, or are they low?

In 2005, BBC and the Discovery Channel produced a docudrama and documentary about Yellowstone called Supervolcano. Below, Yellowstone Volcano Observatory scientists answer questions that arose after this program aired that relate to supervolcanoes, volcanic hazards, and Yellowstone.

The docudrama Supervolcano dramatically explores the impact of a large caldera-forming eruption at Yellowstone. The scale of the portrayed eruption is similar to the eruption of the Huckleberry Ridge Tuff at Yellowstone 2.1 million years ago. The movie is realistic insofar as depicting what could happen if an eruption of this magnitude were to occur again. Although the drama is set in the future, it does an acceptable job of addressing some of the issues scientists would grapple with if Yellowstone showed signs of an impending eruption. The questions and answers below shed light on issues related to volcanism at Yellowstone. A much more detailed discussion, including full-color illustrations, can be found in the U.S. Geological Survey Fact Sheet about Yellowstone’s activity.

Do animals predict earthquakes? The earliest reference we have to unusual animal behavior prior to a significant earthquake is from Greece in 373 BC. Rats and weasels, also snakes, and centipedes, reportedly left their homes and headed for safety several days before a destructive earthquake.

The Earth has a magnetic north pole and a geographic north pole, but the Earth’s magnetic pole is shifting at an accelerated rate over the past few years. New research conducted by the European Space Agency and its three-satellite mission called SWARM, shows that the Earth’s magnetic north pole is moving south towards Siberia. The satellites were launched in November of last year for the purpose of investigating the Earth’s magnetic fields. The fields have been found to act as a shield against space and solar radiation, and also to help moderate the Earth’s climate.

The shift in acceleration of the Earth’s magnetic poles originates from the planet’s core. Large areas of the Western Hemisphere have seen decreased power in the magnetic field while a large area in the southern Indian Ocean has seen an increase in the field’s power. Scientists will be able to continue analyzing data from the SWARM satellites over the next few months to determine if these findings match up with other signal orientations from the rest of the Earth layers such as the ionosphere, mantle, crust, oceans and magnetosphere.

  • Over the next few years I believe societies around the global are going to redefine themselves, actually they will not have a choice they will have to take position, stand and be counted.
  • The world needs a handful of inventors to break free from the initial act of greed and release the ideas to the world. (In the early 1950’s someone invented a car part that could make a car go 60 miles per gallon. It was buried in a stack of other inventions that the people never saw!) Were would we be now had that been available to the public?

A second deadly brain eating Naegleria fowleri amoeba has been found in the drinking water system in Sabine Parish, Louisiana near the Texas border.

This is going to continue to happen… the deadly amoeba is likely thriving in drinking water systems throughout the south… they just don’t test for it.

This too is from the shift of the poles
